Eating out with kids usually ends the same way: you eating cold food while someone gets bored ten minutes in.
Gato Blanco is set up so that doesn’t happen. A play room you can see from your table, a children’s menu they’ll actually finish, and a kitchen that’s 100% gluten-free.
Our play area is mainly designed for children aged 3 to 10. Parents are welcome to come in to accompany them or play together. Children under 3 must always be accompanied by an adult.
Inside, you will find:
For those who prefer to stay at the table, we also have colouring materials, puzzles and board games.
Parents ask us about this more than about the food. Fair enough.
We clean with an active oxygen system instead of the usual chemical cocktail. It’s certified to two European standards, and they’re the ones that matter:
No toxic residue on the tables your kids put their hands on. And it cuts down the plastic and chemical waste that goes down the drain, which is a nice side effect.
Hygiene and allergen safety are the same job here. The kitchen is 100% gluten-free, so there’s no second fryer, no shared chopping board and no stray crumb from a sandwich.
For a coeliac family that removes the two questions you’d otherwise be asking all evening.
Our play area is recommended for kids 3–10 y.o. It keeps them happy while you enjoy your meal, drink and conversation.
we help you create the best memories.
Our play area keeps them happy while you enjoy your meal, drink and conversation. Everyone who likes healthy but tasty food and a warm family atmosphere. We also have a calm, quiet (and pet-friendly) area far from the kids’ playground.
Book your table at Valencia’s favorite family-friendly restaurant. The kids will love it. You’ll love it even more.
We’re located just a short walk from Turia Park, in the family-friendly neighborhood of La Zaidía. Easy to reach, with public parking nearby.
Yes, though the fun here is on the inside. There's a glass-walled play room you can see from the tables, with games by age group, a reading corner and soft flooring. No screens and no entertainers. The kids play on their own while you finish your meal.
Three things above the rest: somewhere the kids can move, a children's menu that isn't a list of fried food, and a place that's genuinely clean. The fourth, if there's a coeliac at home, is a kitchen you can trust.
No. There are no costumes, no characters and no storybook set. We're a home-cooking restaurant with a play room next to it. If you're after a themed party, this isn't the place.
The play room is recommended for ages 3 to 10, and under-3s can come in with an adult. It isn't staffed. On Fridays and Saturdays we serve until 11pm, so there's time for dinner without rushing.
You can book through the website, by phone on 650 758 817 or on WhatsApp. If you're coming as a group or celebrating a birthday, let us know in advance so we can sort out the table and the play room.
